New Story Ideas

So what I did was, I took a break from most of my social media accounts. Not because anything happened on any of those, I've just been having a horrible couple of months in general, and don't have the patience to deal with the climate on those things right now. Anyway, I take this break, and I figure I'll use all this extra time (it's not that much, really) to get some writing done, maybe finish a couple of WIPs.

And it's been going pretty well on that front actually, kind of...

I've gotten a lot of writing done, even updated one of those aforementioned WIPs, but most of the writing I've been doing has been for completely new, unrelated things. One of which is the first really plotty thing I've come up with in a couple of years.

Not complaining, I have been having more fun writing than I have in a while, and I would never complain about that. It's just interesting how much difference a little extra time can have on ones creativity.

NaNoWriMo

Probably not the best idea, seeing as how I literally just now complained about my inability to write, but I've decided, this last minute to sign up for NaNoWriMo. I have no illusions about my ability to actually write a while 50 000 words story in just one month, but I'm going to try my best and get as far as I can! Lucky me I've already got a couple of story ideas to get me started, so there's one bit of prep work I wont need to catch up on.
