Writing is Hard

How does writing even get hard in the first place? About a year ago, I could sit down and pump out 5000 words that were more or less passable in a couple days, and now it takes me like three days on average to get out a few hundred words of utter trash.

I've moved since then, but it's very close to where I used to stay and it hasn't changed anything huge. I still like most of the things I did back then. Still enjoy reading about more or less the same things. Still enjoy plotting out stories and coming up with dialogue, but as soon as I sit down to write those things down it all flutters away like sparkly fairy dust on a mystical wind.

I still want to write, but I feel like I can't and it's frustrating and it suuuuuucks.
